Philippines’ Duterte arrested for alleged crimes against humanity

The ex-president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, has been arrested. The International Criminal Court issued a warrant for crimes against humanity for the thousands killed in a drug war that Duterte waged across his political career. He’s charged with using the state to issue kill orders for alleged “death squads.”
