SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Deputies in California are responding to reports of a possibly armed person at a hospital in San Bernardino County.
What we know:
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is responding to a call from the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital along Anderson Street in Loma Linda on Wedesday, March 12.
Deputies say they are at the hospital to clear out the facility.
The hospital issued the following statement in response of the active incident:
“Law enforcement has responded to the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital Emergency Department. It is an active investigation and all media inquiries can be directed to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department PIO.”
What we don’t know:
Officials did not explicitly say this is a shooting, but also did not say that no shots were fired.
It is unknown if people were hurt at the scene.
