Real Madrid and Barcelona Set for Copa del Rey Final in La Cartuja

With Barcelona’s victory over Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano in the Copa del Rey semi-final, Real Madrid’s opponent for the final on April 26 at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville has been confirmed. The anticipated El Clásico showdown will take place in a newly renovated stadium with an increased capacity.

La Cartuja’s Expansion Ahead of the Final

The stadium, currently undergoing an expansion, is set to reopen on April 26, just in time for the final. The renovations include the removal of the athletics track, allowing for mroe seating and more intimacy, and an increased capacity of approximately 70,000 spectators.

Real Madrid’s Ticketing Process

Real Madrid has already informed its members about the procedure to request tickets for the final. The application period will open on April 4 at 12:00 p.m. and close on April 8 at midnight. Given the high demand, if requests exceed the ticket allocation, the club will conduct a notarized lottery on April 10 to determine the winners.

Only club members over the age of five are eligible to apply, with a maximum of six tickets per application. Each request will be assigned a reference number for the lottery. Tickets will be issued digitally and will be non-transferable, with successful applicants required to complete registration and payment through the RFEF ticket portal using codes provided by the club.
