Witherspoon kept it classic in an all-white swimsuit, while Haarmann sported a striped bathing suit.
Their romantic outing comes nearly a year after People confirmed the couple was dating in September 2024. Haarmann, a German financier and minority co-owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders, has been steadily growing closer to Witherspoon since the two were first seen together in New York City in July 2024.
At the time, insiders shared with the outlet that the Oscar-winning actress was “taking things slow” as she juggled work and parenting. “She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” a source said then, referring to her youngest child, 12-year-old Tennessee James Toth.
By October 2024, the relationship had reportedly moved beyond casual. Haarmann had begun spending time with Witherspoon’s sons, 21-year-old Deacon Phillippe and Tennessee, indicating that things were getting serious. It was unclear then whether he had met her daughter, Ava. However, those close to the actress reportedly said she appreciated that Haarmann wasn’t part of the Hollywood scene. “Reese loves that he’s a businessman and not into Hollywood,” said the outlet’s source.
