Marvel Studios had fans tied to their livestream on Wednesday as they released the list of talent slated to be included in Avengers: Doomsday.
Among the long list of names revealed was Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Kirby, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd Simu Liu , Florence Pugh, and, of course, Robert Downey Jr., among others.
Following the big release, which we’ll include more names for below, Downey Jr., through an interaction with Marvel Studios on Instagram, added some fuel to the speculation that there’s even more coming on the horizon.

It’s certainly a noteworthy back-and-forth, but after seeing the initial list of names, it’s tough to even begin to guess what other surprises may be on the horizon.

It’s an impressive list of names, and Downey Jr.’s interaction on Instagram after the announcement only fueled the speculation that there may be more to come. Time will tell, but it’s safe to assume that the surprises ahead of Avengers: Doomsday have likely just begun.
The film will hit theaters on May 1, 2026, and the second movie slated to be released, Avengers: Secret Wars, currently has a release date of May 7, 2027.
