Shilo Sanders is making his own move!
The former Colorado Buffaloes safety and son of Deion Sanders shared on a Twitch livestream on Saturday, April 26 that he decided to hire agent Drew Rosenhaus in the wake of his brother Shedeur Sanders’ slide to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
“Dad was our agent,” Sanders said, as his brother, who sat next to him, laughed. “But that hasn’t been working out too good. So today I had to sign with an agent.”
The 25-year-old’s comments came as Shedeur, who was widely expected to be an early first round draft pick, was selected by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th overall pick in the draft.
Hours later on social media, the legendary agent shared the news that he had signed the elder Sanders son.
“Welcome to the family,” Rosenhaus wrote on X.
Shilo also joined another new family — shortly after the draft’s conclusion, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him as an undrafted free agent.
For the Sanders boys, the long weekend had its highs and lows.
After he wasn’t selected in the first round, Shedeur, 23, was the unwelcome recipient of a prank call in which someone posing as a New Orleans Saints executive told him that he’d have to “wait a little bit longer” before being drafted.
Jax Ulbrich, the son of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, was later revealed as the person behind the prank call.
When the quarterback’s phone finally rang as the sixth pick in the fifth round of the draft on Saturday, the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, seemingly took the events of the previous days in stride.
“Thank you GOD,” Sanders wrote on X.
