Steve Irwin’s Son, Robert, Is Modeling Underwear Now

Move over, Jeremy Allen White. There’s a new handsome blond guy looking good in underwear, and he’s doing it with a bunch of live snakes. The guy in question is Robert Irwin, of the Steve Irwin crocodile-hunting dynasty. You might remember him as a small child on his dad’s television show, but now he’s 21 and stripping down for the Australian brand Bonds, which launched in the U.S. on Thursday.

Does this make you want to buy underwear? Or does it make you want to hang out with Robert and his giant lizard? I haven’t decided, but this campaign has opened my eyes to the charms of the youngest Irwin, who seems surprisingly normal given the fact that he’s Australian royalty.

Speaking with People, Irwin, a conservationist and host of Australia’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, said that he jumped at the opportunity to do some underwear modeling. “I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it’s something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I’ve never done before and it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I want to be doing,” Irwin told the tabloid. Okay, sweetie-pie alert!

Irwin also told the magazine that he was basically already in shape for the shoot. “I’ve got to stay pretty fit with all the crazy stuff I’m doing,” he said. “I’m saving crocodiles, I’m in and out of the Aussie bush every day and it’s hard work, so you’ve got to keep pretty good upper-body strength, good stamina.” I promise I will not make a joke about going in and out of the Aussie bush … moving on!

Over on the Bonds Instagram, the photos are causing quite a commotion. Everyone in the comments is shocked and horny, writing things like, “Rob my wife is on instagram, mate. Please,” and “Crikey. The khaki has been hiding that rig the whole time?” Crikey, indeed.
