There was one couple viewers at home believe were part of an experiment for the right reasons.
A new season of Temptation Island premiered on Netflix on Thursday, March 13 with all 10 episodes available to stream. A group of couples – Shanté and Brion, Ashley and Grant, Alexa and Lino, and Tayler and Tyler – put their relationship to the test to help strengthen their relationships.
The couples end up having to split up into two different villas and will be confronted by single “tempters” and “temptresses,” who help see if those couples really are there for the right reasons.
Viewers at home were impressed with one couple, Alexa and Lino. The two have dated for three years and wanted to test out their relationship since this was Lino’s first serious relationship. The two have had a rocky relationship with Alexa being dishonest of those she dated while they were exclusive. Lino has felt like a “second choice.”

Alexa and Lino were the only couple on the show to not fall for temptation. They would chat to other people and have good dates, but always kept it on a friendship basis with the some flirting involved.
Temptation Island viewers praised the couple. One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “Alexa & Lino are the only couple to come here and take it seriously. & funny enough, they were the only couple that came in without boundaries and rules. & they were the only couple to also stay loyal in the villa.” Another person wrote: “Aww Lino and Alexa. I don’t even know why they were on the show.” A third person wrote: “#TemptationIsland Awe Alexa & Lino yes I’m here for it!”
A couple that many hoped would pass the experiment, failed. Shanté and Brion had been dating for a year and in the beginning of their relationship, Brion chose another woman over Shanté, causing trust issues. Brion fell for temptation in the villa and even had a moment with two women in the shower.
