Netflix’s Temptation Island is naturally full of enticing individuals and drama filled plot lines, but the thing that really drew us in? The stunning beachside villas. And we’ve done some deep dive investigating to find out the filming locations of the series.
Temptation Island dropped on the streamer earlier today (12 March) for the show’s ninth season, but the first on Netflix. The reality show follows four couples who want to test their relationships, and they do this through moving in with a group of tempting individuals of the opposite sex. At the end of two weeks they’ll then decide if they want to stay together, breakup and be single, or move on with someone they met in the villas.
However, there’s a catch. Each group will be able to watch a number of scenes of what their other half is getting up to, which naturally will lead them to questioning their original relationship more.

But before we get into the chaos, can we just take a minute to appreciate the stunning scenery they found themselves in? And here’s all the details you need to know about the filming location of Temptation Island.
Where is Temptation Island filmed?
Filming for Temptation Island took place on the US state of Hawaii, specifically in the area of Kailua-Kona, which is on the west coast of the Island and the second largest settlement of Hawaii.
As well as filming at two villas on the Island for the majority of the series, the cast are also seen exploring parts of Hawaii during their time on the show. For example when they go on dates we see them heading into local restaurants, ice cream parlours, and bowling alleys.
Hawaii has been used to film the last few seasons of the show when it was on USA Network. However, when the show originally started back in 2001, filming took place in Belize.
