These Kentucky and Indiana counties are under flood warnings | What you need to know

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Flood warnings have been issued for multiple counties in Kentucky and southern Indiana days after severe weather and heavy rain.

Between 5 and 8 inches of rain has fallen in the Louisville area with more rain expected Sunday.

Here are the current alerts for both states.

Breckinridge and Meade counties are under a flash flood warning until 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Grayson County is under a flash flood warning until 12 a.m. Sunday.

Hardin County is under a flash flood warning until 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

Bullitt, Nelson, and Spencer counties are under a flash flood warning until 1 a.m. Sunday.

Green and Taylor counties are under a flash flood warning until 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

Bullitt, Franklin, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties are under a flood warning until 11 a.m. Sunday.

A flood watch is in effect for the entire area until 8 a.m. Sunday.

Adair, Green, Hart and Taylor counties are under a tornado watch until 10 p.m. Saturday.

Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Scott and Washington counties are under a flood warning until 11 a.m. Sunday.

Crawford County is under a flood warning until 3 p.m. Sunday.
