NFL Draft 2025: After Giants trade up for Jaxson Dart, these are their remaining picks

What’s left for the Giants?

Well, on Thursday night, they picked edge rusher Abdul Carter third overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Then they moved up nine spots — from 34th to 25th — and took quarterback Jaxson Dart, surrendering two third-round picks (including one in 2026) in the process.

The Giants not only dealt away their second-round pick (No. 34), but they also parted with their second third-rounder (No. 99, a compensatory selection).

They got No. 99 for losing Xavier McKinney to the Packers in free agency last offseason. And they used it as part of the Dart trade-up package. But they were able to retain their first third-rounder this year.

So here are their remaining picks, with Rounds 2-3 set to be picked Friday night and Rounds 4-7 finishing up the draft Saturday afternoon:

Round 2: No picks (because of Dart trade-up move with Texans)

Round 3: No. 65 (with No. 99 having also headed to Houston)

Round 4: No. 105

Round 5: No. 154

(The Giants sent their own fifth-rounder, No. 140, to the Panthers as part of the Brian Burns trade last offseason. They got the 154th pick in 2023 by trading Leonard Williams to Seattle.)

Round 6: Giants aren’t scheduled to have a pick in this round.

(The Giants sent No. 177 to the Bills in 2023 for Boogie Basham, who spent two uneventful seasons in East Rutherford and signed with Carolina this offseason.)

Round 7: Nos. 219 and 246

(The Giants’ final seventh-rounder came from Buffalo as part of the Basham trade.)
