Tragic Cause of Death Released for ‘Friends’ Actor

Nicky Katt, a longtime actor who appeared in movies like “Dazed and Confused” and “Boiler Room,” died earlier this month. He was just 54 years old.

The longtime Hollywood star, who also made an appearance on the hit show “Friends,” was reportedly found dead on April 8. TMZ is reporting his official cause of death on Monday, April 14.

According to TMZ, the longtime Hollywood star was found dead in his apartment. He is believed to have died by suicide, according to the celebrity news outlet.

“Law enforcement sources tell us … Katt’s body was discovered hanging inside his L.A. area apartment by his landlord on April 8,” TMZ reported.

“Our sources say the landlord visited Katt’s apartment about a week earlier, telling him his rent was due, and he needed to pay it.”

Katt reportedly did not leave a suicide note, according to the report from TMZ.

The longtime Hollywood star was born in South Dakota. He rose up during the 1980s and 1990s. He began his career as a childhood actor, appearing on the show “Fantasy Island,” while later making appearances in the film “Underground Aces.”

Katt ultimately made appearances in big and successful productions like “Dazed and Confused,” “A Time To Kill,” and “Boiler Room,” among others. He often played the villain and he did it well.

The longtime Hollywood star made a notable appearance on “Friends,” too, in which he and one of his friends get into it with Ross and Chandler at the coffee shop.

“Oh man, I’m so sad to hear of Nicky Katt’s death. He was amazing in “Dazed And Confused” and “Boiler Room” …… and let’s not forget his epic “fight” cameo with Chandler and Ross in TV’s “Friends,'” one fan wrote.
