Two people have died in a Northern Ireland shooting.

Two others were left seriously injured in a shooting in Co Fermanagh, police in Northern Ireland have said.

The shooting took place within the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge.

In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said it can confirm that two people have died.

It also said two people are being treated in hospital for serious injuries.

It added: “We can advise there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
