Tiger Woods is now confirmed to be in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife.
In a recent interview, Woods said of Vanessa: “We’ve known each other a long time. She’s an amazing person, and I’m happy.” The news has also drawn renewed attention to Woods’ ties to President Donald Trump.

Trump, an avid golfer, has praised Woods for years, both during and after his presidency.
In 2018, Trump tweeted congratulations after Woods won the Tour Championship. In 2019, he awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom, describing him as “one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports.” The president has also frequently posted about Woods on Truth Social, especially when the golfer made comebacks from injury.
During a National Black History Month event at the White House in February, Trump praised Woods, stating, “He’s got a long way to go, too. I was with him a week ago, we played. I think he’s got some left…Couple of majors maybe. Maybe more than that.”
Trump posted a tribute to Tiger Woods‘ mother, Kultida, following her death that same month.

What Tiger Woods Has Said About Donald Trump
Despite their long-running friendship, Woods has maintained a neutral stance when asked about Trump. In 2018, he responded to a reporter’s question about his relationship with Trump: “He’s the president of the United States. You have to respect the office.”
He added that he has also played golf with Presidents Obama and Clinton.
Woods has never publicly endorsed Trump politically.

Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr. in March 2018 after 12 years of marriage. The parents of five released a joint statement at the time, saying they had “tremendous respect for each other” and were focused on their family.
