The Indiana Fever (14-12) are back in action Wednesday (today) with a date against the Phoenix Mercury (16-9). It’s the first of three meetings this season between the two.
The Fever will once again be without star guard Caitlin Clark, who is sidelined for the fifth straight contest with a right groin injury. It’s the 14th regular-season game Clark has missed in 2025, and the 15th game this year when including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final.
Indiana enters off back-to-back wins against the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky.
Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell scored 21 points in the 80-70 win over the Aces and matched a Caitlin Clark feat in the win over the Sky. Mitchell led the Fever with 35 points in the 93-78 Sunday win over the Sky. In the process, Mitchell joined Clark as only the second player in Indiana Fever franchise history to score 35-plus points, while also recording five-plus assists and five-plus 3-pointers made in a single game.
