Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin and his wife, Victoria Goodwin, tied the knot at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in August 2022. Three years later, she was arrested for allegedly conspiring to murder him.

The couple have been together since at least 2018. They got engaged the following year and had to postpone their wedding several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m so lucky to have her in my life,” the TV paranormal investigator wrote in a 2019 Instagram post. “She helps me when I’m down & she always makes me laugh. I always feel safe when she is next to me holding my hand.”

In March 2025, however, Victoria was arrested in Clark County, Nev., on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. Police told TMZ they found text correspondence between her and a prison inmate that showed they had allegedly plotted Aaron’s murder. There was also evidence that she set aside money to pay the hitman back in October 2024. Victoria has denied plotting to have her husband killed and wanting him dead, police told TMZ.

So, who is Aaron Goodwin’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Victoria Goodwin and her relationship with the Ghost Adventures star.

Prior to meeting and marrying Aaron, Victoria was a collegiate golfer. In a December 2024 interview on the Motivational Talks With Ash podcast, she detailed how her dreams of going pro were put on hold when she was diagnosed with achalasia, a rare condition that makes it hard to swallow.

“My heart goes out to my fellow Achalasia/CardioSpasm warriors, and all those dealing with chronic illnesses & PTSD,” Victoria wrote in a June 2024 Instagram post that shared photos of her surgery scars. “I went 2 years without answers, medical gaslighting & misdiagnoses… Awareness matters.”

In October 2019, Aaron proposed to Victoria in front of the Disneyland castle. Over three years later, the couple said their “I dos” in the same theme park at the Haunted Mansion.

“It finally happened 💍 we got married,” the Ghost Adventures star wrote in an Instagram post that featured photos from their nuptials. “After postponing many times due to Covid we got our day. I couldn’t be happier ❤️.”

Aaron and Victoria adopted a kitten in October 2024. The paranormal investigator posted an Instagram photo of the gray feline on Instagram and wrote in the caption that he had snuck into their house and “wouldn’t leave Victoria alone.” They named him Dodger.

“He held on & stuck next to us,” Aaron captioned the post. “So we got him his shots & now we have a little fur baby! I love cats so this was a no brainer 🤗🐈‍⬛ I’m so glad he chose us.”

The couple also share a dog named Moose and two rats named Pascal and Rapunzel.

On her Instagram feed, Victoria describes herself as a “Rare Illness + C-PTSD Warrior.” She frequently posted photos and videos about her PTSD recovery journey after being diagnosed with achalasia.

“8 years ago, I was experiencing starvation,” Victoria captioned a February 2024 post. “My own body, that I worked so hard to get healthy & not abuse, started to reject everything for no reason. I had no answers, just pain for way too long. Thankfully, after about 1.5yrs, I got a name… #Achalasia.💚”

She wrote that after the diagnosis, she underwent surgery that improved her quality of life.

On March 6, 2025, Victoria was arrested on charges of conspiring to commit murder and soliciting to commit murder after police found texts between her and a Florida inmate plotting to kill Aaron.

Investigators claimed that she had given the inmate the Ghost Adventures filming schedule and had set aside over $11,500 for payment in October 2024, per TMZ. The messages came to light after corrections officers discovered the smuggled phone.

“Am I a bad person?” reads one of the alleged messages from Victoria. “Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

Though she admitted to police that she and Aaron had been having marital problems, she denied all accusations of plotting his murder. She claimed that she had no memory of texting the Florida inmate and thought that the money she promised him was for cell phones.

Aaron told TMZ that he was blindsided by his wife’s arrest and thought he was in a happy marriage.
