BOULDER, Colo. — Are Deion Sanders and Karrueche Tran dating?
Those are the rumors and speculations after Tran was seen visibly emotional while at Coach Prime’s bedside and talking about the procedure he underwent to remove a tumor. Sanders held a press conference on Monday where he revealed he recovered from an aggressive form of bladder cancer.
Dr. Janet Kukreja, Director of Urological Oncology at UC Health said in the press conference that Sanders received a newly-created bladder and is cured from the cancer.

Sanders told the media that few people knew about his cancer diagnosis – not even some of his own kids because he didn’t want to take his son’s focus away from being drafted to the NFL. He did, however, loop in one of his sons, Deion Sanders Jr., who runs Well Off Media. Deion Sanders Jr. said in a video his dad asked him to document the journey and process as he battled it.
On the morning of Prime’s press conference, Well Off Media posted an 18-minute-long video that gave a behind-the-scenes look at his journey to being cured of his bladder cancer. Here’s where Tran fits into the picture. In the video, titled “For Your Glory (Part 1): Coach Prime Bladder Removal Surgery,” Tran appeared multiple times throughout the video, including toward the beginning, where she, fighting through tears, said “we are at the hospital because we are dealing with bladder cancer.”
Tran held his hand as they walked Coach Sanders back for his surgery.
Tran, 37, is an actress who previously dated R&B singer Chris Brown, Migos rapper Quavo, and NFL receiver Victor Cruz. She has 13.6 million followers on Instagram.
The dating rumors between Tran and Sanders come after Sanders and Tracey Edmonds allegedly called off their engagement in a December 2023 Instagram post, according to People Magazine. Sanders has been married twice prior to his relationship and engagement to Edmonds. He had two children with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers, who gave birth to his daughter Deiondra and son Deion Sanders Jr. Then, Deion Sanders was married to Pilar Biggers-Sanders, who is the mother of Shilo Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and his other daughter Shelomi Sanders.
Tran has won multiple Daytime Emmy Awards for crime-drama series, The Bay.
Neither Sanders nor Tran have publicly confirmed they are in a relationship. Her appearance and reaction in the video has simply sparked curiosity on social media about whether or not the two are dating or simply close friends.
