The 2025 women’s NCAA Tournament has reached the Final Four, featuring three top seeds UCLA, South Carolina, and Texas, along with No. 2 seed UConn, in must-see matchups in Tampa, Florida.
The Texas Longhorns will compete against the defending champions South Carolina Gamecocks in the opening game Friday evening at the Amalie Arena. The Gamecocks are aiming to win their second consecutive national championship and their third title in four years. Meanwhile, the Longhorns are hoping to secure their program’s second national championship and first since 1986.
In the second Final Four matchup, the UConn Huskies, led by superstar Paige Bueckers, will compete against the UCLA Bruins and the dominant Lauren Betts. UCLA aims to win the program’s first NCAA basketball title, while UConn strives for its 12th national championship, by far the NCAA record.

When is women’s Final Four?
The women’s Final Four is set for Friday, April 4, with the first semifinal starting at 7 p.m. ET. The second semifinal will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN, with streaming options available on ESPN+ and Fubo, which is offering a free trial to new subscribers.
