New York, N.Y. — Visit your favorite social media or sports-betting site and odds are you’ll find chatter about the new bats being used by the New York Yankees.
The bottom line in each post is that the Pinstripers’ new bats feature a revised profile.
It moves the fatter part of the bat closer to the grip, in effect moving the sweet spot closer to where the bat and ball make contact.
